Nathan Wiles – Owner & Chief Meteorologist

Starting this business has allowed me to give back to the community and provide locals with an expert opinion on the weather that impacts them most. Having lived in the Twin Tiers most of my life, I’ve witnessed first-hand how weather varies from town to town. Through my experiences and knowledge of the area, my goal is to help businesses, schools and local officials stay informed and make the right decisions when it comes to weather.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in meteorology at Penn State University and went on to forecast air quality for their meteorology department.  From there I spent several years in the private sector specializing in impact-based weather, working with over 125 town and county road departments, dozens of schools and universities, and several NFL and MLS teams.

Paul Taschereau, Jr. – Meteorologist

Paul grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut and first became interested in weather shy of his 4th birthday when Hurricane Andrew was taking aim at Florida. Paul began his career within the private sector upon receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology in 2018 at West Connecticut State University and has amassed five-plus years of forecasting experience within the continental United States. Paul hopes to bring his many years of forecasting experience and knowledge of the Northeast climate to Wiles Valley Weather and help provide detailed, accurate, and consumable forecasts to each customer.

Jim Sullivan – Long Range Meteorologist

Jim grew up in northeast Ohio, attending Ohio University where he earned his Bachelors in Meteorology in 2016. Jim joined a Cleveland-based company called Neoweather as a forecaster in 2013 before transitioning to WeatherWorks out of New Jersey in 2018, rising to the position of Chief Meteorologist. Jim contributed to both short-range and long-range forecasts for clients at both companies during his terms. He recently transitioned to government sector in late 2021 where he continues to master in the art of weather prediction and has also been contributing to long-range weather outlooks for Wiles Valley Weather since 2024.
